Stayed for Pitt’s graduation weekend. Location is the best amenity as we had parking here and could leave the car and just walk or bus. We had issues with the heat upon arrival, I.e., there was none, but this got quickly resolved the next day. This is an older building so we heard every footstep and movement, whether at 2 a.m. or afternoon, of the upstairs neighbors. Nothing that the hosts can do about that, but just for renters to be aware.

I had a very good stay at Frank and Janine’s place. The apartment was a great size and very conveniently located within walking distance of the University of Pittsburgh, as well as nearby shops and restaurants. Having dedicated parking was also a big plus and made things especially easy.
The space was comfortable and met my needs well throughout my stay. There was some noise from the unit above that was noticeable at times, which may be worth considering for light sleepers.
Overall, this is a convenient and well-located option for staying in Pittsburgh. Frank and Janine were communicative and easy to work with, which I really appreciated.

I had a great stay at Frank’s place. The location was convenient, with easy access to the bus into downtown. Frank was attentive, took great care of the space, and was very responsive to any questions I had. I’d definitely stay here again.

The apartment was exactly as described, the location was excellent for getting around Pittsburgh. I highly recommend the Carneige Museum of Art and Natural History which is within walking distance. There is also no shortage of restaurants in the area which cut down on Uber costs and my own driving.

My girlfriend and I spent 3 nights at this beautiful loft apartment, and it was absolutely perfect for us. Janine was an ideal host. The building itself and the apartment were both well maintained. Janine was very responsive and helpful, especially with supplying a kuerig machine on a whim!!

Stayed for a few weeks, and Frank was very responsive. Place isn’t huge, but everything you’d expect in a 1bd. Comfortable and good location, near bus lines. Would stay again, great value for the price!

Janine was responsive and clear with communicating when I had any questions. The place was exactly as she described and was the best place to stay in the oakland area. Walkable to plenty of restaurants and coffee shops and best part of all: right next to so many bus stops. 100% would recommend!

I loved staying at Janine's Airbnb! I needed something within walking distance of Pitt, and this was exactly what I needed. It was great to be able to cook my own meals the entire time I was there. I highly recommend staying here!
